After George A. Smith heard the Hawaiian language for one month on his mission, he did what?
a.            Taught his first discussion
b.            Translated the Book of Mormon into Hawaiian
c.             Visited the King and Queen of Hawaii
d.            Gave a talk in Sacrament meeting
Yesterday’s answer:
C   William Smith gave him a Patriarchal blessing
Mathias Cowley was fifteen years old at the time of his blessing. He later recorded: “I was playing on the Bank of the Mississippi River, opposite to Bro William Smith’s, brother to the Prophet Joseph, and then Patriarch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He comes out to the top of the Bank, and calls me by name, says he; ‘come into the House, I want you.’—I followed him into the house, he handed me a chair, and told me to sit down, because he wanted to Bless me—he lays his hands upon my head, and commences as follows. . .”
