In 1843, four elders were called to the first foreign language mission. Where was it?
a.                  England
b.                  The Pacific Islands
c.                   Denmark
d.                  Mexico
Yesterday’s answer:
B   At work while giving Parley a haircut
From the life of Cleo Heavener:   My grandpa was James Madison Pierce, who joined the Mormon Church in Rochester, Stratford, New Hampshire. He loved to tell me that he’d held a knife to Parley P. Pratt’s throat more times than he could count. Grandpa was a barber, and Parley P. gave him the missionary lessons while Grandpa gave him a haircut and shaved his beard. Grandpa went to Nauvoo, Winter Quarters, and on to Utah and settled in Springville.
