Yesterday’s answer:

a.       The Evening and Morning Star

This periodical was printed in Missouri from June 1832 until July 1833, when the Church’s press there was destroyed. The paper was subsequently printed in Kirtland from December 1833 until about September 1834. Issues that had originally been printed in Missouri were reprinted in Kirtland in January 1835. Many of Joseph Smith’s writings and the revelations given to him were printed in the paper, which helped the Saints to better understand the doctrines of the Church and their individual responsibilities. Some revelations, in fact, were printed in this periodical but were not included in the first edition of the Doctrine and Covenants.
