Cooperstown, New York is small, very
small. The only reason this place of 1, 912 people made it on the map is
because it’s home to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. Baseball
enthusiasts from all over descend on this little town each year to revel in the
Hall of Fame. Believe it or not, this little town also has a tie to the early
years of the Church, what is it?
a. The Bible used in the JST of the
Bible was printed here
b. This is the birthplace of Oliver
Cowdery
c. This is where the first official ward
was organized in the Church
d. This is where the first official
branch of the Church was organized
Yesterday’s answer:
(D) “Thou fool . . .”
At Willow
Springs, some of the colonists wrote comments on the rock walls of the canyon.
One inscription reads, “Arizona Mission Dead—1873.” A more optimistic colonist countered with
graffiti of his own: “Thou Fool, This Mission is not dead, it only sleeps.”
