In order for Orley Spencer to serve a mission, it was necessary for him to close out his business interest in a Hardware store that he was a part owner. When he was set apart to serve in the Southern States mission at the turn of the century, he was promised that if he went what would happen?
a.                   He would have his calling and election made sure
b.                  He would be made the president of the church
c.                   He would be worth more financially
d.                  He would never want
Yesterday’s answer:
C   Tramps
From the life of Deseret Nariam Hickman:   At the time he resided in Milford [Utah] that place was a regular town of tramps who were coming and going all the time; there were good tramps, bad tramps, clean tramps and dirty tramps, but all were fed indiscriminately at Bro. Hickman’s door. If he heard of any one in need, he never failed to render them assistance.
