They Gave What They Could

While missionaries were out and about during the construction of the Nauvoo Temple, they constantly asked the Saints for donations to help in the construction of the temple. Because most branches did not have much, the list of items sent was similar to a listing of a modern day yard sale, basically anything that was useable was sent. What did the Andover branch of the Church in Ohio contribute to the temple?

a.      Mittens, socks, and apples

b.      Hats, canes, and nails

c.       Jerky, pots, and boots

d.      Peaches, rope, and wool

Yesterday’s answer:

a.      One of the three Nephites

April 24th, 1867: At Provo with family of Alexander McDonald. Sister McDonald told me a blessing she received under the hands of one of the old Nephites when she was very sick. She was healed and was promised a family of 8 children. She has now 6.
