The largest LDS parade is the Days of ’47 parade, now considered the third largest parade in the United States. More than 300,000 people routinely line the streets for the annual event, and more than half-a-dozen states now pick up the parade on television. More than 130 floats and numerous other entries participate each July 24 for the two-mile march through downtown Salt Lake City.
