Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy wrote about the Church and may have read the Book of Mormon. His copy of the Book of Mormon resides in the Tolstoy museum in Chechnya. Of the Church he wrote: “If Mormonism is able to endure, unmodified, until it reaches the third and fourth generation, it is destined to become the greatest power the world has ever known.”
