Mohammed Ali
During the
summer of 1986, “The Champ” (Muhammad Ali) was intercepted at the airport in
Dallas, Texas, by Bob Wilke of Chandler, Arizona. After striking up a brief
conversation, Wilke presented Ali with a personalized copy of the Book of
Mormon. Ali in turn autographed a “What Is Islam?” pamphlet and returned the
favor saying , “I’ll read your book if you’ll read mine.”
