“I had as nice a wedding as could be had . . .”

Where did pioneer Rachel Simmons say she was married and had “as nice a wedding as could be had in those days?”

a.      The top of Ensign Peak

b.      The Endowment House

c.       The Bath house

d.      The Lion House

(D)   Soap

In 1878, Charles William Carroll recalled: “We had dances in the dining hall. We would shove all the tables against the walls and shave soap on the floor to make it smooth. . . . We had good music for our weekly dances. Brother Covington and Lon Cox would trade off with the fiddle. That was all the instruments we had, but we thought it was great.”
