How many saw the Savior?

As Saints, we never tire of the stories that have generated from the dedication of the Kirtland Temple. Many miraculous and amazing events took place for many of the faithful Saints. The crowning experience was the appearance of the Savior to the prophet. Was it just the prophet and Oliver Cowdery that saw the Savior on this occasion, and if not, how many did see Him?

 a.      Joseph and Oliver only

b.      Joseph, Oliver, and the Quorum of the Twelve

c.       Joseph, Oliver, and the Smith, Whitmer, and Knight families

d.      Hundreds

Yesterday’s answer:

 (C)   1951
It was in Kirtland that Joseph Smith groomed four future presidents of the Church for responsibilities to come. Brigham Young, John Taylor, Wilford Woodruff, and Lorenzo Snow were baptized during the Kirtland years and led the Church, in succession, until 1901. In addition, the next three presidents –Joseph F. Smith, Heber J. Grant, and George Albert Smith, whose administrations lasted until 1951—were direct descendants of stalwart Kirtland pioneers.
