b.   His dog would not bark at the elders

On July 29, 1882, Southern States Mission President, John Morgan, confirmed John McDaniel a member of the Church on the same day he was baptized. Referring to why he joined the Church, Brother McDaniel states: “I had a very mean and vicious dog. One day two elders came to my home. As they stepped onto the porch the dog only wagged its tail—it was some-kind-a-miracle, so I joined the church.”
