B. Janes report of the Elder’s teaching
From the life of Jane Treharne Ashton: When Jane was
sixteen years old, her father appointed her to report on the teachings of the
Mormon Missionaries who were having a meeting. Jane did as requested and
reported all she could remember. After her report, her father exclaimed this
was the gospel he had been looking for. However, the missionaries had gone and
did not return for three years. Upon their return, the family was baptized into
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
